Wendy Gordon, MD, SM, Chief
Executive Officer and Founder
Dr. Gordon has held
leadership positions
in several start-up companies focusing in the areas of finance, corporate strategy
and corporate partnering. At The Medicines Company, She was
a seed investor, member of the Leadership Team, and served
as Vice President of New Business Ventures. Previously,
Dr. Gordon was a partner and Managing Director
at MPM Capital and served as a Consultant
at the The Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Gordon received her
MD from Harvard Medical School and an SM from the
Sloan School of Management at MIT. |

Bryan Roberts, DPhil, President and Founder
Dr. Roberts has divided his career between academic and management
positions. Dr. Roberts served as Executive Vice President
at AVANT and at Virus Research Institute, Inc. (VRI) where
he established and managed the Polyphosphazene Program and
oversaw the clinical development of several vaccines. Dr.
Roberts has over 100 scientific publications, and more than
15 issued US patents. Dr. Roberts has a DPhil from Oxford
University and has held academic positions at Brandeis University
and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Roberts had a founding role
in Applied bioTechnology and VRI. |

Alexander Andrianov, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer and Founder
Dr. Andrianov has held the position of Director of Polymer
R&D at AVANT where he developed a new high throughput
polyphosphazene chemistry platform, related manufacturing
processes, and established company polymer patent portfolio.
His academic training includes research at MIT, where he was
engaged in the development of polymeric drug delivery systems
and synthetic biodegradable materials. Dr. Andrianov received
his Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Moscow University, where
he subsequently conducted research on the development of new
hydrogel biomaterials. Dr. Andrianov has authored more than
60 technical publications in the field of polymer chemistry,
polymer drug delivery systems, and biomaterials. He is an
inventor on 29 U.S. and not related foreign patents. |
Richard Yost, PharmD, Vice President
From 1999 until joining Parallel Solutions, Dr. Yost was a
Senior Director of Business Development with The Medicines
Company. Prior to this he was a senior manager (Vizedirektor)
at F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG. with responsibilities in the areas
of clinical pharmacology, project planning and finance. In
the years prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr.
Yost held academic positions at the Colleges of Pharmacy at
the University of Florida and the Medical University of South
Carolina where his research focus was in clinical pharmacokinetics.
Dr. Yost received his PharmD from the Philadelphia College
of Pharmacy.
